This document sets out the licence granted to you when you download and use mockups and other digital assets ("Content") through Éditions, a service operated by Studio Blanche Ltd, Company number: 14617235, Registered company address: 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF.
These Licence Terms apply in addition to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. By downloading any Content, you accept the licence terms below.
A subscription to Éditions grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Content you download, subject to the conditions below. You do not own the Content: ownership and all underlying intellectual property rights remain with Studio Blanche at all times.
All plans let you use downloaded Content in your own work. What differs between plans is where and how you can use it. The restrictions in Section 3 apply to every plan.
Cahier: Personal & Brand licence
You can:
- Use Content on your own website, social media, newsletter and portfolio to showcase your work and promote your brand, without paid promotion.
- Present design concepts to clients (for example in a pitch, proposal or presentation) and create mockups for client review and approval.
You can’t:
- Use Content in paid advertising, including boosted or sponsored posts.
- Use Content in published commercial print, such as brochures, packaging or printed marketing.
- Deliver mockups, with or without your design applied, to a client for their own use (for example on their website, social media or marketing). This is a Maison right.
Atelier: Commercial licence
You can:
- Do everything included in Cahier.
- Use Content in paid advertising for your own brand, including boosted or sponsored posts.
- Use Content in published commercial print for your own brand, such as brochures, packaging or printed marketing.
You can’t:
- Deliver mockups, with or without your design applied, to a client for their own use (for example on their website, social media or marketing). This is a Maison right.
- Use Content in advertising, campaigns or print published under a client’s brand.
Maison: Extended Client licence
You can:
- Do everything included in Atelier.
- Deliver finished mockups (your design applied to our mockup) to clients as part of a project, for the client’s own use, such as on their website, social media or marketing.
- Use Content in work published under a client’s brand, including client campaigns and launch imagery.
- Use Content to showcase your own templates and products for sale, for example a website template preview, a Canva template preview or product shots showing your design applied to our Content.
- Use Content within a product you sell, as long as it’s built into your finished design and can’t be extracted and reused on its own. For example, an ebook cover made from one of our mockups with your own branding and text applied.
- Share the licence across your account plus 3 team seats. Each seat holder may use it under the same terms.
You can’t:
- Hand over our original PSD or PNG files to clients.
- Include our mockups or images in a product you sell in a way that lets buyers save, extract or reuse them on their own. For example, a website template sold with our stock images included, a Canva template with our images as placeholders, or a bundle containing our files, whether or not your design has been applied.
Team seats: Maison includes the account holder plus up to 3 team seats. Team seats are for people who work for or with the account holder’s studio, such as employees or contractors working on the studio’s own projects. Content downloaded by team members is licensed to the account holder’s studio and may only be used for the studio’s work and its clients’ projects. Team seats may not be used to give access to other studios, agencies or freelancers for their own work. The account holder is responsible for all use of the membership by their team.

Regardless of your plan, you may not:
- Claim authorship or ownership of the original, unmodified Content.
- Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share our raw source files as a standalone downloadable product.
- Use Content to train, fine-tune, or build datasets for AI or machine-learning models of any kind.
- Use Content in a way that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes the rights of others.
- Share your download access or downloaded files with anyone outside your plan's seat allowance.
- Sell or give away our mockups or images in a form buyers can extract and reuse independently, for example as files or placeholder images inside a template, theme or bundle, even when your own design has been applied.
Files you download while your subscription is active remain licensed to you under the terms above, for the uses permitted by your plan at the time of download, even if you later downgrade or cancel your subscription. You do not need to delete or stop using work that already incorporates our Content.
This does not extend to downloading additional new Content after your subscription ends. Access to the library and new downloads requires an active subscription.
Our Atelier and Maison plans include unlimited downloads for genuine individual or studio use. To keep this sustainable and fair for all members, we ask that you use the library in a way consistent with normal design work.
We reserve the right to review, limit, or suspend accounts that show patterns of use inconsistent with this, for example downloading the entire library in a short window, automated or bulk scraping, or other behaviour that suggests the intent is to stockpile Content rather than use it in ongoing design work, particularly around the time of cancellation. Where we identify this, we may contact you to discuss your use before taking any action.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Éditions if you breach these Licence Terms. This does not retroactively revoke the licence for Content already lawfully downloaded and used in accordance with Section 4, but any new access will be withdrawn.
