Studio Blanche Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), company number 14617235, registered at 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF, England, operates Éditions. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our site and subscribe to our service.
We comply with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 in how we handle your data. If you are located outside the UK, we apply the same standard of care to your data regardless of where you're based.
We collect the following personal data:
- Account details: name, email address, and password (encrypted) when you register.
- Payment information: processed and stored securely by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card details ourselves.
- Usage data: information about how you use Éditions, including downloads, page views, and general activity, collected via Webflow and Google Analytics.
- Marketing preferences and email engagement: managed through our email platform, Kit, if you subscribe to our mailing list or coming-soon waitlist.
- Communications: any information you provide when contacting us directly, e.g. via email or contact form on our website.
- Email preferences: members’ name, email and notification settings (from Account Settings) are shared with our email platform, Kit, so we can send the updates you’ve chosen. You can change these at any time in your account or unsubscribe from any email.
- If a Maison plan member invites you to their team, we receive your email address from them to send and verify the invitation.
We use your data to:
- Create and manage your account and subscription;
- Process payments and billing via Stripe;
- Send you service-related emails (e.g. billing confirmations, account notices);
- Send you marketing emails via Kit, where you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email);
- Send you the email updates you’ve chosen in your Account Settings, such as new Édition releases and editorial letters;
- Understand how Éditions is used, via Google Analytics, so we can improve the service;
- Run and measure advertising campaigns on Google and Meta (Instagram/Facebook), where you have consented to marketing cookies;
- Comply with legal and accounting obligations.
We process your data on the following bases:
- Contract: to provide the Éditions service you've subscribed to.
- Consent: for marketing emails and non-essential cookies (analytics, advertising).
- Legitimate interests: for basic security, fraud prevention, service improvement and to send members updates about new Éditions (you can switch these off at any time).
- Legal obligation: for tax and accounting records.
We use the following types of cookies:
- Essential cookies: required for the site and account system to function (e.g. keeping you logged in). These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics cookies: Google Analytics, used to understand site usage. Requires your consent.
- Advertising cookies: used for Google Ads and Meta (Instagram/Facebook) advertising, including measuring campaign performance and, where applicable, retargeting. Requires your consent.
You can manage or withdraw cookie consent at any time via our cookie banner or your browser settings.
We share data with the following third parties, solely to operate our service:
- Stripe: payments and billing
- Memberstack: member accounts, logins and plan access
- Webflow: website hosting and contact forms
- Cloudflare: secure file storage and downloads
- Kit: email updates and newsletters
- Google (Analytics and Ads) and Meta: site analytics and advertising, only with your cookie consent
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK/EEA (including in the United States). Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms recognised under UK GDPR.
Éditions is available worldwide. Regardless of where you are located, we handle your personal data in line with UK GDPR standards. If you are located in the EEA, Switzerland, or elsewhere with local data protection laws, those laws may also give you additional rights; this policy does not limit them.
We retain your account and subscription data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution requirements. You can request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate data;
- request deletion of your data;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent at any time (e.g. for marketing emails or cookies);
- request a copy of your data in a portable format;
- lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. In the UK, this is the ICO (ico.org.uk).

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted password storage and secure, PCI-compliant payment processing via Stripe. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information to industry standards.
Éditions is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone who is not legally capable of entering into a subscription contract in their jurisdiction.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or via a notice on the site.
