We are not currently required to register with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)but comply with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 in how we handle your data. If you are located outside the UK, we apply the same standard of care to your data regardlessof where you're based.
We collect the following personal data:
• Account details: name, email address, and password (encrypted) when you register.
• Payment information: processed and stored securely by our payment processor,Stripe. We do not store your full card details ourselves.
• Usage data: information about how you use Éditions, including downloads, pageviews, and general activity, collected via Google Analytics.
• Marketing preferences and email engagement: managed through our email platform,Kit, if you subscribe to our mailing list or coming-soon waitlist.

• create and manage your account and subscription;

• comply with legal and accounting obligations.
We process your data on the following bases:
• Contract: to provide the Éditions service you've subscribed to.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, includingencrypted password storage and secure, PCI-compliant payment processing via Stripe. Nomethod of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information toindustry standards.
Éditions is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone who isnot legally capable of entering into a subscription contract in their jurisdiction.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by emailor via a notice on the site.
